Want a New School Playground?
It takes a community to build a playground — and we’re already well on our way.
With a passionate team, a strong plan, and plenty of momentum behind Play On, Pleasantside!, we’re looking for a few more helping hands to bring this new playground to life for our kids and community.
We know firsthand that life is busy, so volunteer roles have been designed with flexibility in mind — whether you can help once, occasionally, or throughout the campaign, every bit makes a difference.
If you’ve got a little time, a useful skill, or simply want to be part of something meaningful (and fun), we’d love to have you join us.

Some heroes wear capes. Others organize fundraising logistics.
Warning: joining the core team may result in unexpected pride and lasting community impact.
This team will help turn a big playground dream into a real place for kids and families to gather, play, climb, imagine, and connect for years to come.
From now through March 2027, volunteers will help plan events, coordinate fundraising efforts, build community partnerships, and support grant applications as part of our two-track campaign strategy.
We’ve identified a range of roles — big and small — and encourage shared positions to keep things manageable, flexible, and (dare we say) enjoyable. Whether you love organizing, fundraising, community-building, spreadsheets, social media, or simply making good things happen, there’s likely a role for you.
