Provides leadership for the PAC, chairs meetings, and works closely with the school administration to support the school community and PAC goals.
Coordinatates volunteer sign-up on our online Lome platform and communicates key details with parent volunteers.

Manages PAC finances, including tracking income and expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring funds are handled responsibly and transparently.
Assists in writing grants and organizing fundraising for Pleasantside's new playground.
Emily Cheadle
Co-Fundraising Chair
+ Co-Communications Chair (What's App)
Plans, coordinates, and oversees PAC fundraising initiatives to support school programs, activities, and resources.
Manages and moderates the classroom What's App accounts. Sends key PAC info to each classroom What's App parent rep to distribute to class.
Randall Abele
DPAC Representative
+ Technology Consultant
Represents Pleasantside at monthly DPAC meetings (Wed evenings, with a virtual option) and shares district-level updates and info with PAC.
Plans and implements new technology projects when the need arises.
Carissa Dyck
Secretary
Prepares meeting agendas, records and distributes meeting minutes, and helps maintain PAC records and correspondence.

Co-Communications Chair

Updates the PAC website and creates digital and print communication materials as needed to keep families informed about PAC activities and events.

Manages all information regarding new Pleasantside Playground.

Day-of Hot Lunch Lead
At school every Wednesday organizing parent volunteers and feeding the Pleasantside kids hot lunch (our PAC's largest fundraiser!)
Countless Parents that hand out hot lunches, sell books at book fair, and volunteer at the events.
