Pleasantside Elementary is more than a school - it’s a gathering place for families, neighbours, birthday parties, after-school hangs, scooter races, and “five more minutes!” before heading home.
Our current wooden playground has served generations of children, but it’s nearing the end of its lifespan. Through Play On, Pleasantside!, we’re working to build a new inclusive and accessible playground designed for the next generation of kids (and tired parents sitting on nearby benches).
Our goal is to raise $200,000+ through community fundraising, corporate sponsorship, and support from School District 43’s Playground Equipment Program.
Supporting the Pleasantside playground is a meaningful way to invest in local children, families, and community wellbeing while aligning your business with accessibility, outdoor play, and community connection.
Sponsors receive recognition through campaign signage, digital communications, website features, events, and opportunities for lasting recognition at the completed playground site.

We can issue a tax-deductible receipt for donations above $20.
