Our large wooden “big kids” playground has served generations of Pleasantside students - but after years of recesses, climbing contests, and countless games of lava monster, it’s reached the point where parts can no longer be replaced due to the age of the structure.

Together, we’re launching Play On, Pleasantside! - a community-driven campaign to design and build a new inclusive playground that supports play, connection, imagination, and accessibility for the next generation of kids and families.
With fundraising and planning underway now, our goal is to welcome students back to a brand-new playground in September 2027.
The Pleasantside PAC Playground Committee has created the following introduction to the project (spoiler: there may be exciting photos of a future playground involved).
